This free crochet pattern is for an incredibly easy, yet elegant, scarf that’s perfect for spring! It’s made with cotton yarn and loose stitch, giving it a fantastic drape and a comfortable style.
Supplies
Araucania Patagonia (color #244); 2 skeins
Size L Crochet Hook
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Abbreviations
Ch: chain
Dc: double crochet

Free Crochet Scarf Pattern–Seascape Scarf
Cut fringe first, and set aside:
Cut 32 pieces of yarn that are approximately 12 inches long.
Chain 18.
Row 1: Dc in 3rd chain from hook, *dc in next ch; repeat from * across.
Row 2: Ch 2, turn. *Dc in next st; repeat from * across.
Repeat row 2 until the desired length, or until you are almost out of yarn.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Attach fringe (1 piece of fringe into each stitch at the short ends of the scarf):
Fold the fringe piece in half, insert the folded end through the stitch until 1-2 inches is through. Take the two loose ends and pull them through the loop of the folded end and pull tight. Repeat with each fringe piece.
