Today I’m adding a free wrist warmers crochet pattern to my free patterns collection. They make a fun and elegant pair of wrist warmers, and they include all sizes from newborn to adult. Make them for the whole family!
Supplies
DK Weight Yarn {yarn shown is a handspun yarn, but any DK weight will work wonderfully!}
Size G Crochet Hook (4.5 mm) (Please adjust your hook size, if necessary, to achieve the correct gauge)
Tapestry Needle
Abbreviations
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sl: slip
Sc: single crochet

Sizes
Newborn to 3 Months (4” around), 3 Months to 12 Months (4.5” around), 1 to 3 Years (5” around), 3 to 5 Years (5.5” around), 5 Years to Pre-Teen (6” around), Small Adult (7” around), Medium Adult (7.5” around), Large Adult (8” around).
Gauge
Approximately 3.5 sts/inch. Please adjust hook size accordingly, to achieve the correct gauge.
Notes
1. Personal gauge may vary, so please adjust your hook size, if needed, to obtain the correct gauge. You will need to obtain the correct gauge for the wrist warmers to turn out to be the sizes shown.
2. The width of the wrist warmers can be adjusted to personal preference by working fewer, or more rounds before finishing.
Free Wrist Warmers Crochet Pattern
{Newborn to 3 Months}
Newborn to 3 Months
Chain 14. Being careful not to twist the chain stitches, join to the first chain to begin working in the round.
Round 1: Ch 1. Sc in the same ch, *sc in next ch; repeat from * around. Join. (14 sts)
Round 2-6: Ch 1. Sc in same st, *sc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (14 sts)
{NOTE:} This is where you can adjust the width of the wrist warmers (the length from top to bottom). If you’d like them to be narrower, work fewer rounds. If you’d like them to be wider, work more rounds.
Fasten off, and weave in ends.
{3 to 12 Months}
Chain 16. Being careful not to twist the chain stitches, join to the first chain to begin working in the round.
Round 1: Ch 1. Sc in the same ch, *sc in next ch; repeat from * around. Join. (16 sts)
Round 2-7: Ch 1. Sc in same st, *sc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (16 sts)
