Notes:
- The chain 1 at the beginning of rounds does not count as a stitch. When joining at the end of rounds, join to the first stitch.
- I worked this hat by changing the colors of yarn every two rounds. Due to the height of the stitches, I find that it works well to cut the yarn at every color change, before joining the new color. If you choose to carry the yarn loosely up the inside of the hat, be sure to carry it very loosely so that it doesn’t pull/pucker.
- To change colors, I find it best to begin the new yarn during the slip stitch at the join, before the new round for the new color. Ex: finish the last stitch of the round before the one that you want to change colors for. Remove hook from loop, drop old yarn, insert into the first stitch at the beginning of the round to join, pick up the new yarn and finish slip stitch. Begin working the new round with the new color.

This looks like chunky yarn not worsted weight. Is it?
Posh Patterns says
Hi Gina!
This hat is made with a worsted weight yarn. Specifically, I used Vanna’s Choice Premium Acrylic in three colors. :-)
