Crochet Chunky Button Cowl Pattern
Supplies
Chunky Weight Yarn — 250 yards (as pictured)

Size M (9 mm) Crochet Hook
Tapestry Needle
Two Buttons
Abbreviations
Ch: chain
Dc: double crochet
Sc: single crochet
St: stitch
Sl: slip
Fpdc: front post double crochet
Bpdc: back post double crochet
Note
The chain 1 at the beginning of each row does not count as a stitch.

Gauge
Approximately 1-1.5 stitches per inch.

Crochet Button Cowl Pattern
Chain 25.
Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook, *dc in next ch; repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn. (23 sts)
Row 2: Bpdc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. (23 sts)
Row 3: Fpdc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. (23 sts)
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you use 2 skeins of yarn (or work until the desired length).
Fasten off.
Using matching yarn, secure two buttons to the beginning end of the cowl. Simply slip the buttons through the stitches of the other end to secure.
