Abbreviations
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sl: slip
Dc: double crochet
Size
Toddler: 8”x 24.5”
Child: 9”x 26”
Adult: 10”x 27.25”
Gauge
Approximately 1.5 sts/inch. Please check your gauge to ensure an accurate finished size.

Button Scarf Crochet Pattern
Toddler
Ch 40.
Row 1: Dc in 2nd chain, *dc in next ch; repeat from * across. (38 sts)
Row 2-5: Ch 1. *Dc in next st; repeat from * across. (38 sts)
Row 6: Ch 1. Dc in next 2 sts, skip 1 st, dc in each st across to end.
Row 7: Ch 1. Dc in each st across to ch 1, dc in ch 1, dc in last 2 sts.
Fasten off.
Attach a button to the center of the side opposite the buttonhole side.
