CO: cast on
BO: bind off

Approximately 3-3.5 sts/inch in knit stitch (garter stitch)

Note
The stitch used in this hat has quite a bit of stretch to it. It is worked to the appropriate width, therefore making it extra adjustable to head size.
Easy Two Needle Hat Knitting Pattern
Cast on 32 sts.
Row 1: Knit each st.
Repeat until piece measures 22-24 inches WHILE STRETCHED.
Cast off, leaving a long tail to sew the back seam and to close the top.
Finishing
Thread yarn tail onto a yarn needle and seam the two edges of the hat. I prefer the mattress stitch but, of course, use any method that you choose or prefer.
When you reach the other end of the piece, after finishing the seam, leave the yarn attached so that you can close the top. To do that, work a basic running stitch around the top edge of the hat all the way around to where you began. Pull the yarn to close the opening. Thread yarn tail to the inside and weave in all ends.
