Crochet Stitch Guide
Single Crochet (sc): *Insert hook in stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over and draw through both loops on hook; repeat from *.
Single Crochet Decrease (sc2tog): Insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up loop (2 loops on hook), insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook.
Double crochet (dc): *Yarn over, insert hook in stitch, yarn over and pull up loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over and draw through 2 loops, yarn over and draw through remaining 2 loops; repeat from *.

Triple/Treble Crochet (tr): *Yarn over 2 times, insert hook in stitch, yarn over and pull up loop (4 loops on hook), yarn over and draw through 2 loops, yarn over and draw through 2 loops, yarn over and draw through remaining 2 loops; repeat from *.
Crossed Double Crochet: skip next stitch, double crochet in next stitch, working backwards, make a double crochet in the skipped stitch. You are crossing over the two double crochet that you just created.
Extended Single Crochet (esc): Insert hook in next stitch or chain, yarn over and pull up loop (2 loops on hook), yarn over and draw through 1 loop (1 chain made), yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
Extended Double Crochet (edc): Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch or chain, yarn over and pull up loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over and draw through 1 loop (1 chain made), [yarn over and draw through 2 loops] 2 times.
Back Post Single Crochet (bpsc): insert hook from back to front to back around post of corresponding stitch below, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over and draw through two loops on hook.
Front Post Single Crochet (fpsc): insert hook from front to back to front around post of corresponding stitch below, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over and draw through two loops on hook.
Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc): Yarn over, insert hook from front to back to front around post of corresponding stitch below, yarn over and pull up loop [yarn over, draw through 2 loops on hook] 2 times.
Back Post Double Crochet (bpdc): Yarn over, insert hook from back to front to back around post of corresponding stitch below, yarn over and pull up loop [yarn over, draw through 2 loops on hook] 2 times.
Front Post Treble Crochet: Yarn over 2 times, insert hook from front to back to front around the post of the corresponding stitch below, yarn over and pull up loop [yarn over, draw through two loops on hook] 3 times.
Back Post Treble Crochet: Yarn over 2 times, insert hook from back to front to back around post of corresponding stitch below, yarn over and pull up loop [yarn over, draw through 2 loops on hook] 3 times.
Reverse Single Crochet: Working from left to right, insert hook in next st to the right, yarn over, draw through st, complete as for sc.
Reverse Slip Stitch: Working left to right, insert hook in next stitch to the right, yarn over, pull loop through stitch and loop on hook.
Puff Stitch
Wrap the yarn over the hook, insert the hook below the chain. Wrap the yarn over the hook and draw through. There will be 3 loops on the hook.
Wrap the yarn over the hook, insert the hook below the chain. Wrap the yarn over the hook and draw through. There will be 5 loops on the hook.
Wrap the yarn over the hook, insert the hook below the chain. Wrap the yarn over the hook and draw through. There will be 7 loops on the hook.

Wrap the yarn over the hook to secure puff stitches at the top.
