Chunky Cowl Free Crochet Pattern
Supplies
Super Bulky Weight Yarn; approximately 200 yards

Size P (11.5-12 mm) Crochet Hook
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Abbreviations
Ch: chain
St/sts: stitch/stitches
Hdc: half double crochet
BLO: back loop only

Size
15 inches tall, 30 inches around.
Gauge
Approximately 1.5 stitches/inch in half double crochet in BLO.

Free Crochet Cowl Pattern
Chain 26.
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in each ch across. (25 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. *Hdc in BLO of next st; repeat from * across to last st, hdc in both loops of last st.
Repeat row 2 until piece measures 30 inches {or desired width around}.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the seam.
Seam the cowl
Bring the two ends together and, using the long tail from fastening off, sew the seam to close the cowl.
