Notes
- You will not join rounds with a slip stitch. Instead, you will mark the start of each round with a marker (a scrap piece of yarn), and move it up as you go. This creates a seamless hat. When you begin the brim, the directions will indicate to join at the end of rounds.
- The brim is designed to be a little bit wavy and floppy. You will see this begin to happen during the first round of the brim. A cotton yarn will make it a little more “floppy,” while an acrylic yarn will give it a tiny bit more “stiffness.”

I love the fishing hat. Just started making it but for some reason after rnd 4? I am not getting 50 sts where I placed the marker after rnd 3. Is rnd 3 suppose to be the same as rnd2? Ive done it twice.
Thank You for any help.
