Note
- Chain 2 at the beginning of rounds does not count as a stitch for the first part of the pattern. When joining at the end of rounds, join to first stitch. The pattern will indicate when the chain stitches at the beginning of rounds will begin to count as a stitch.

Crochet Lace Hat Pattern
2T-4T
Ch 3. Join into a ring.
Round 1: Ch 2. 12dc into the ring. Join. (12 sts)
Round 2: Ch2. 2dc in same st. *2dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (24 sts).
Round 3: Ch 2. Dc in same st, 2dc in next st, *dc in next st, 2dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (36 sts).
Round 4: Ch 2. Dc in same st, dc in next st, 2dc in next st, *dc in next 2 stitches, 2dc in next st; repeat from *. Join. (48 sts).
Round 5: Ch 2. Dc in same st, dc in next two stitches, 2dc in the next st, *dc in next 3 stitches, 2dc in next st; repeat from *. Join. (60 sts).
Round 6: Ch 2. Dc in same st, dc in next 3 stitches, 2dc in next st, *dc in next 4 stitches, 2dc in next st; repeat from *. Join. (72 sts).
Round 7: Ch 2. Dc in same st, dc in next 10 sts, 2dc in next st, *dc in next 11 sts, 2dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (78 sts)
Round 8: Ch 3. In the same stitch work (1dc, ch1, 2dc). Skip 2 sts, dc in next st, skip 2 sts, *(2dc, ch1, 2dc) into next st, skip 2 sts, dc in the next st, skip 2 sts; repeat from *. Join with a slip st in top of ch 3. (Ch 3 at beg of rounds counts as a stitch now and through round 18.)
Round 9: Slip st in first dc, sc in ch-1 space, ch 3, (dc, ch1, 2dc) in same ch-1 space. Fpdc around dc from the previous round, *(2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next ch-1 space, fpdc around dc from the previous round; repeat from * around. Join with a slip st in the top of ch 3.
Round 10-18: Repeat round 9. (Note: this is where you can adjust the length of the hat. If you’d like it shorter or longer, work fewer or more rounds.)
Edge
Ch 1. Sc in same st, in each next st, and in chain spaces around.
Join with a slip st to first sc.
Fasten off.
5T-Adult
Ch 3. Join into a ring.

Notes
- For the smaller flower, stop working and fasten off after round 5.
- For a multi-colored flower, change colors on even-numbered rounds.
Ch 3. Join into a ring.
Round 1: Ch 1. 10 sc in ring. Join to first sc.
Round 2: Ch 1. Sc in the same stitch as join, ch 2, *skip next stitch, sc in next, ch 2; repeat from * around.
Round 3: (Sl st, ch 1, 3dc, hdc, sl st) in each ch space around. Join.
Round 4: Ch 3, sc around the next sc from round 2 (not the one directly beneath starting point), *ch 3, sc around the next sc from round 2; repeat from * around.
Round 5: (Sl st, ch 1, 4dc, hdc, sl st) in each ch space around. Join.
Round 6: Ch 4, sc around the next sc from round 4, *ch 4, sc around the next sc from round 4; repeat from * around.
Round 7: (Sl st, ch 2, dc, 4tr, dc, hdc, sl st) in each ch space around. Join.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
