Reusable market bags are a huge trend right now–and for good reason! They can be used for trips to the grocery store, to a farmer’s market, or anywhere else that would normally require a shopping bag. This crochet market bag pattern is quick and easy so you can make a collection of them for your next trip to the store.

Notes
- Chain 2 at beginning of rounds does not count as a stitch for the first 5 rounds. When joining at the end of rounds, join to first stitch. For rounds 6- 17, the chain sts at the beginning of rounds do count as a stitch. For rounds 18-20, the chain sts at the beginning of the round do not count as a stitch. When joining at the end of rounds, join to first stitch.
- This bag has a significant amount of stretch to it. If you’d like it to be smaller, work fewer rounds between rounds 6 and 17. If you’d like it larger, work more rounds during that section.

I love all your patterns and they are so easy to follow!! Have purchased many and want to thank you for the free ones as well. There are many well dressed infants (hats) in our city. I am a nurse in OB and have been making them and giving them away now for 8 years!! Have gifted over 4,000 hats! Thanks again!
