Today I’m releasing a free boot cuffs crochet pattern. These elegant boot cuffs are a fun and quick project, and they add a little extra flair to your fashion boots! They feature a pretty scalloped edge and comfy design. They’re a great way to use up small amounts of yarn and, because they are a smaller project, you can make them in different colors to coordinate with your outfits.
Supplies
Worsted Weight Yarn
Size I Crochet Hook (5.5 mm)
Abbreviations
Ch: chain
Dc: double crochet
Sc: single crochet
See my Crochet Stitches Guide for step by step directions to the most common crochet stitches.
An ad-free printable PDF version of this pattern is also available. :)
Free Boot Cuffs Crochet Pattern
Ch 18.
Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in each ch across. (16 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Dc in each st across.
Repeat row 2 until the piece measures approximately 12-13″, making sure that you have an even number of rows.
{This is where you can adjust the sizing to fit around the leg, more appropriately, if your legs are larger or smaller than this. These boot cuffs do stretch, so keep that in mind too.}
DO NOT FASTEN OFF.
Bring two short sides together and seam the edges together with single crochet stitches or slip stitches. {If you prefer, you can also choose to fasten off the piece, leaving a long tail, and use a tapestry needle to sew the two edges together.}
To work the scallop edge of the cuffs, you will be working into the edge of the rows. Each row can count as “a stitch.”
Rejoin yarn to one of the top edge stitches around the opening of the cuff.
Round 1: Ch 3, 4dc in same st, slip stitch in next st, *5dc in next st, sc in next st; repeat from * around. Join.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Make a matching boot cuff to this one. :-)

Thanks so much for the boot cuff pattern. Can you share what brand of yarn you used? Mine didn’t come out quite the same as yours. Thanks again.

Hi there!
I’ve used many different yarns for these, but the ones pictured are made with I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby. :)
